Effectiveness may vary based on the subject, and some animals other than dogs, cats, or birds may not be detected.

Through coordinated control with the in-body IS, RF lenses can provide effective image stabilization. Our testing with the RF-S18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM lens and the EOS R7 camera, at a focal length of 150mm, has shown that battery level, card capacity, and internal temperature may cause video to stop.
