Unparallel for Image Capture

Discover the innovative capabilities of the Sony Alpha line, known for capturing stunning moments in various ways. The E-mount series provides top-notch performance and DSLR-like quality in a compact design, while the mirrorless models offer swift and effortless shooting.

For even more advanced photography, the Sony Alpha series offers a wide range of features and lens options. Elevate your creativity with cutting-edge technology, including advanced sensors, image stabilization, autofocus, and 4K capabilities.

Sony Alpha 7C Mirrorless Camera

Rich, Full Frequency Response

Sony's E-mount, found on their NEX and ILCE series cameras, is a smaller and more versatile lens mount option that works alongside the company's α series. This allows for more compact imaging devices without sacrificing compatibility with 35mm sensors.

The E-mount achieves this through reduced mechanical complexity, elimination of mechanical aperture and focus drive, and a shortened flange focal distance of 18 mm. Due to this reduced distance, an optical viewfinder cannot be used, as there is no room for a mirror box mechanism. Instead, all E-mount cameras are equipped with an electronic viewfinder.

  • Sony Wildlife Photo

    Exmor RS™ Shutter System

Sony's "Exmor RS™ Shutter System" is an advanced image sensor technology that accurately captures fast-moving subjects without distortion. Unlike traditional rolling shutter systems, this technology utilizes a "global shutter" system where all pixels on the sensor are read simultaneously, making it perfect for sports and wildlife photography. This feature is commonly found in Sony's high-end cameras, including the Alpha 9.

  • Full-Frame Mirrorless

A full-frame mirrorless camera has a sensor that's equivalent to a 35 mm film frame. This means it offers better image quality and performance compared to other digital cameras. Additionally, it has several advantages, including improved low-light performance, a wide dynamic range for detailed scenes, the ability to produce a shallow depth of field with a fast lens, and the ability to capture stunning images in natural light without additional equipment.

  • 5-Axis Stabilization

Sony is a well-known creator known for its advanced technology in 5-axis sensor-shift stabilization. The concept of "5-axis optical image stabilization" refers to a camera feature that corrects for camera shake in five different directions, resulting in clearer images while taking handheld shots, particularly in low light environments. Camera movement is counteracted by shifting the image sensor, making this a superior image stabilization method to lens-based systems.
