The Vivitar DF-586 Digital Macro Ringlight Flash for Canon is a dedicated accessory for Canon DSLR cameras, delivering "shadowless" direct light perfect for macro photography. It comes with rings that can be attached to lenses with 52, 55, 58, and 62mm front threads, boasts a guide number of 18m (100 ISO), and offers full I-TTL dedication for Canon DSLRs. With an exposure confirmation auto check lamp, it also provides approximately 150-200 flashes on a single battery charge and recycles in just 2-3 seconds. The angle of illumination covers lenses 50mm and longer (35mm equivalent), and it can be powered by easily accessible AA alkaline, NiCad, or Ni-MH batteries (batteries not included).
