The Canon EOS R50 V Mirrorless Camera offers creators and vloggers a compact interchangeable lens option. It enhances video content production with UHD 4K60p recording, a vertical tripod mount, and other video-friendly features from the Cinema EOS line. The sleek, brick-like body has been redesigned to elevate the overall video experience.
Enhance your production process with the redesigned EOS R50 V, which includes additional V-Series enhancements, such as a vertical orientation mounting point and a front record button. Incorporating subject recognition algorithms from the R5 Mark II, the new Dual Pixel CMOS AF II tracking offers improved performance, including Register People Priority and auto, people, animal, and vehicle detection. Additionally, you can now record cropped UHD 4K video at 60 fps and utilize Slow and Fast modes for creative control over frame rate and playback speed.
This video camera offers advanced features from the Cinema EOS line, including Canon Log 3, HLG, PQ, and 709 recording. It also includes functions like False Color, Zebras, Automatic Exposure, Scene modes, and Movie presets such as Close-up Demo, Smooth Skin, and Movie IS, as well as color filters. The multi-function accessory shoe supports LPCM 24-bit, four-channel audio recording with an external microphone, and is compatible with external flash units when shooting stills. Additionally, there are four built-in live streaming modes available for maximum audience reach, including UVC via USB connection, Live Switcher mobile streaming, HDMI streaming, and Camera Connect streaming via the app.
