Panasonic's Lumix S1 Mirrorless Camera with 24-105mm Lens is a comprehensive entry into the world of full-frame mirrorless cameras. Boasting a 24.2MP MOS sensor, powered by an updated Venus Engine, this camera delivers exceptional image quality with a rapid 9 fps shooting rate and a wide ISO range up to 204800. The S1 also excels in video recording, offering UHD 4K30p with full-pixel readout and 4:2:0 10-bit color, as well as 4K60p for nearly 30 minutes. With the dedicated Hybrid Log Gamma mode, HDR video can also be captured, and a future firmware update will provide 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording and V-Log capabilities. The sensor-shift image stabilization and DFD contrast-detection autofocus system further enhance the S1's ability to capture both stills and videos with precise focus and minimal camera shake.

In addition to its powerful imaging capabilities, the Lumix S1 also stands out for its body design. This includes a remarkably high resolution 5.76m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder and a 3.2" 2.1m-dot triaxial tilt touchscreen LCD. The magnesium-alloy body is weather-sealed for rugged use and features a top status LCD for quick access to shooting settings. With CFexpress Type B/XQD and SD card slots, there are versatile storage options, while Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity allow for remote camera control and wireless transfer of images to mobile devices.

The full-frame 24.2MP MOS sensor and updated Venus Engine of the Lumix S1 have been optimized for high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, and flexible recording modes. With Multipixel Luminance Generation and Intelligent Detail Processing technologies, the sensor and processor produce high resolution and definition by suppressing color moiré, while Color Control enhances color reproduction in highlights and shadows. The Venus Engine's processing power also reduces noise levels across the sensitivity range (ISO 100-51200), allowing for fast full-resolution continuous shooting speeds up to 9 fps with AF-S or 6 fps with AF-C, and more than 90 consecutive raw files.
