The new Nikon Z5 II Full Frame Mirrorless Camera Body or Lens Bundle is a reliable and essential tool for any creative endeavor. Building upon the success of its predecessor, this upgrade boasts enhanced processing speed, advanced subject recognition AF, and improved low-light capabilities. Featuring a convenient color preset button, a bright viewfinder, and effortless sharing options, this camera is ideal for creators looking to capture professional quality full-frame images.
Capture stunning images with the FX-format 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor and EXPEED 7 image processor. This powerful combination offers improved sensitivity, nuanced image quality, and fast, AI-powered autofocus. Enjoy full-resolution continuous shooting up to 30 fps, with a native sensitivity range of ISO 100-64000, expandable up to ISO 50-204800 for extreme lighting conditions. The impressive resolution and sensor size deliver clean image quality, smooth color transitions, and reduced noise at any sensitivity.
Featuring advanced algorithms and deep learning technology inspired by the Z9, the Z5 II is equipped with Subject Detection for nine different subject types, including humans, animals, airplanes, and bicycles. Additionally, the renowned Bird Detection mode is available. When using Auto-Area AF, the Z5 II can detect, focus, and track these subjects, ensuring sharp focus even when they are in motion across the frame.
The EXPEED 7 processor has the ability to activate Pre-Release Capture, which allows for quick and easy decisive moment shots by capturing frames in a burst of up to 30 fps for up to a second before the shutter is released. By half-pressing the shutter, burst shooting will begin and the frames will be stored in the buffer even after the shutter is fully pressed.
With the Z5 II's enhanced video capture capabilities, you can now record UHD 4K video at up to 60 fps and choose from Full HD recording at up to 120 fps. The camera also offers a video self-timer, built-in electronic Vibration Reduction, and the option to save video files to in-camera memory cards or an external recorder through HDMI out. Additionally, the camera allows for in-camera time-lapse shooting and can produce a final UHD 4K video file.
The Z5 II includes a Product Review mode, is UAC and UAV compliant for live web-streaming, and enables internal recording of 10-bit video with Nikon's N-Log LUT. Four new RED LUTs are also available for use.
Embedded within the body is a 5-axis sensor-shift Vibration Reduction (VR) mechanism that can stabilize up to five stops, regardless of which lens is being used. Additionally, this feature can offer up to 7.5 stops of stabilization when paired with compatible lenses. For improved video recording, Electronic VR is at your disposal to steady your footage for handheld shooting.
A new Picture Control button has been incorporated onto the Z5 II to allow easy access to its 31 pre-installed presets, even in Auto mode. The rear LCD screen now supports overlaying the color presets, providing a visual representation of color changes as you work. In addition, you can access Creator Recipes from other Nikon users through the Nikon Imaging Cloud and integrate them with the existing presets.
