The Sony LA-EA5 A-Mount Lens Adapter allows for the utilization of Sony A-mount lenses on E-mount mirrorless camera bodies while maintaining complete lens capabilities, such as AF with SSM, SAM, and even AF lenses without an internal motor. This adapter is also tested to support phase-detection autofocus, providing Real-time Tracking and Eye AF functions, as well as fast continuous shooting up to 11 fps with AF/AE tracking. It even supports AF and AE tracking with lenses lacking an internal motor when paired with the Alpha a7R IV and a6600 cameras. The fully electronic design of the adapter retains Exif data transmission for improved post-production and file management, and its sleek cylindrical design is compatible with camera bodies equipped with a vertical grip.
