Why Choose Lightdow 135mm F/2.8 FE UMC Full Frame Telephoto Lens? The beauty balance of Sharpness in focus and softness out of focus makes the Lightdow 135mm F/2.8 FE UMC Full Frame Telephoto Lens a number one choice for photographers.
- The Lightdow 135mm f2.8 lens is a medium telephoto portrait lens, mainly used for taking photos of half-body and full-body portraits with bokeh background, especially at F2.8 aperture, which provides good background bokeh and a three-dimensional sense of the subject.
- Through the complex and precise optical design, innovative calibration technology, we achieve very high quality resolution and chromatic aberration control, and with the built-in ultra-low dispersion ED lens, which effectively reduces the common purple-edge chromatic aberration of telephoto lenses and maximizes the image quality at maximum aperture.
Anti-reflection multilayer coating UMC
- Provides high contrast ratio
- Excellent light transmission and minimize flare and ghosting making shooting of relatively short distance subjects more easily
- Floating lens design ensures greater light intake and suppresses surface aberrations and distortions to increase image resolution
Low dispersion lens
The lens consists of six optical lenses in six groups, and the Lightdow low-dispersion lens (ED) is used to minimize light scattering according to the wavelength of light, ensuring color difference in not only the central part but also the peripheral part of the image.
F2.8 bright large aperture
The F2.8 large aperture design ensures a swift shutter speed in indoor and low-light environments to complete clear shots, and the shallow depth-of-field effect brings out the subject for softer, more beautiful images.
The ideal telescope lens
The Lightdow 135mm F2.8 lens is a full-frame telescope-level manual focus lens. It provides a sharp sense of color and a soft sense of defocus, and is suitable for a variety of uses such as portrait photography, night photography, wildlife photography and photo pictorial photography.

- Compatible with both full frame and APS-C format cameras, this lens provides a 35mm focal length equivalence of 202.5mm when used on APS-C cameras.
- NOTE: This is a manual lens, NO Electronic Contacts, your camera will not detect the lens when mounted, that's why it shows "Lens Not Attached", please switch to MF MODE in order to use this lens correctly. Tips to use our Manual Lens: 1) Set the mode dial to Manual (M). 2) Set the Release w/o Lens option in the camera menu to Enable. 3) Set the Shutter lock option in the camera menu to Off: no lens.
FULL MANUAL LENS, no electric contacts→no auto focus→no image stabilization, require more experience Manual Exposure.
- Must set camera to M mode(check the picture above) to use this lens, some may require to set "shutter release: no lens" ON in camera menu.
- Camera will not display the aperture value, must be set manually on lens body.
No matter how good autofocus is, there are still times when manual focus is the better shooting option. When used in the right scenario, it gives a photographer more control over the photo, and in some cases, achieves effects that aren't otherwise possible in autofocus mode.
