Elevate your photography with the advanced capabilities of the Nikon Z6 II Full Frame Mirrorless Hybrid Camera Body or Lens Bundle. Offering increased speed, versatility, and performance, this updated version of the all-rounder mirrorless camera is perfect for high-end photo and video projects. While featuring numerous enhancements, the Z6 II maintains its renowned form factor and superior image quality, making it a top choice for professional multimedia creators.
This camera utilizes a 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor for versatile shooting capabilities, exceptional performance in low-light conditions, and efficient readout speeds for various shooting scenarios such as continuous shooting, movie recording, and time-lapse photography. The sensor's back-illuminated design ensures minimal noise and high sensitivity when using higher ISO settings, with a maximum native ISO of 51200 and impressive quality at a minimum ISO of 100. Complementing the sensor's capabilities are dual EXPEED 6 image processors, enabling a fast and efficient camera system, including a continuous shooting speed of 14 fps for up to 124 frames.
Make the most of the sensor and processor features for more than just taking pictures - the Z6 II is a versatile camera for multimedia use too. Record stunning 4K videos with full pixel readout at 30p, and enjoy slow motion playback with Full HD 1080p videos at up to 120p. Save your videos directly to the camera's memory cards or output them in uncompressed format to an external recorder through the HDMI port.
The Z6 II provides advanced video capabilities, including N-Log gamma for capturing flat-looking footage with increased dynamic range, and HLG (HDR) for recording HDR-ready footage. Other additions include the ability to output high-quality 10-bit data over HDMI and an Electronic VR function for smooth handheld shooting. Manual focus control is aided by Focus Peaking and over-exposed areas can be detected with the Zebra Stripes option. Audio can be recorded using the built-in stereo microphone or an optional external mic connected through the 3.5mm stereo jack, with the ability to monitor live audio through a headphone jack.
The sensor contains 273 phase-detect autofocus points covering 90% of the image area both vertically and horizontally, allowing for swift and precise focusing in both stills and videos. This wide coverage area also enables subject tracking near the edges of the frame. During video shooting, Hybrid AF will seamlessly switch between phase- and contrast-detect systems for seamless focus. Furthermore, the NIKKOR Z lenses have been designed for quiet operation.
The 5-axis sensor-shift Vibration Reduction system compensates for camera shake by up to 5 stops, regardless of the type of lens attached to the camera. This feature is also compatible with F-mount lenses when using the optional FTZ Adapter for 3-axis stabilization.
Providing a useful focal length range, the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S lens offers versatility with wide-angle to portrait-length perspectives. Its aperture stays constant at f/4, ensuring consistent exposure while also creating a smaller and lighter option compared to an f/2.8 lens. The optical design features a unique aspherical extra-low dispersion element, combined with three aspherical elements, to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortions for sharp and clear images throughout the zoom range. Additionally, both Nano Crystal and Super Integrated Coatings are used to reduce flare and ghosting, resulting in enhanced contrast and color accuracy even in bright or backlit conditions.
The lens includes a stepping motor for rapid, silent, and accurate autofocus capabilities, as well as the ability to override with full-time manual focus for both photography and videography. A programmable control ring allows for easy customization of a range of camera and exposure settings. Furthermore, the lens features a button-less retractable barrel to achieve a more compact size when not in use.
