The Sony A9 II Mirrorless 24.2MP Full Frame Digital Camera was created specifically to support working professionals in the fields of sports photography and photojournalism. The A9 II is a powerhouse of performance, offering 20 fps blackout-free continuous shooting with AF/AE tracking at 60 calculations per second, along with 10 fps continuous shooting with a mechanical shutter. Boasting the latest 24.2MP full-frame Exmor RS BSI CMOS image sensor and BIONZ X processor, this camera blows away its predecessor with faster shooting speeds, a more ergonomic design, enhanced weather sealing, improved connectivity and transfer rates, and real-time AI AF tracking. Plus, for added security, the a9 II features file transfer over SSL/TLS encryption (FTPS).
