The Sony Alpha A6100 Mirrorless Camera incorporates an improved APS-C-format 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor that achieves smooth and nuanced image quality with minimal noise and high sensitivity from ISO 100-32000. This sensitivity range can be further expanded to ISO 51200 for low-light shooting. The sensor utilizes thin copper wiring and enhanced circuit processing, along with an enhanced front-end LSI, to enhance light-gathering abilities, reduce noise, and increase readout speeds for improved video recording. Additionally, the sensor and BIONZ X processor combination enables a fast continuous shooting rate of 11 fps with AF and AE, as well as 14-bit raw file output for a wider range of tonal and color options.
